Year-end bonus ranking 2007

It's the time of the year when most people will receive their year-end bonus. Can you guess which industry pays the most bonus? According to a chart published in Straits Times on 15 Dec 2007, the industry sectors with the best bonuses are:

1. Oil and gas - 3 to 8 months bonus (was 3 to 6 months in 2006)
2. Offshore marine - 3 to 8 months bonus (3 to 6 in 2006)
3. Property - 2 to 6 months bonus (1 to 4 in 2006)
4. Banking and Finance - 1 to 5 months bonus (1 to 2 in 2006)
5. Retail - 1 to 3 months bonus (1 to 2 in 2006)
6. IT - 1 to 2 months bonus (1 month in 2006)
7. Manufacturing - 1 to 1.5 months bonus (1 to 2 in 2006)

This would come in useful during the next career move :P
